Jeep Lift Kits

There is more than one way to lift a Jeep. But by far the most popular methods are using Jeep body lift kits and Jeep suspension lift kits. Choosing the one that's right for you is simpler than you might think.

It comes down to whether you're looking for that extra off-road performance that comes with the suspension lift or if you just need extra clearance for bigger tires, in which case a body lift kit might be your best option.

There's no doubt that if better performance and handling is at all a concern the suspension kit is the better investment to make. And with the Tuff Country lift kits and Skyjacker lift kits that we feature, you won't have to worry about losing the on-road ride quality.

A body lift kit works by adding blocks and spacers between the Jeep's frame and body. You don't really gain extra clearance from the ground because your frame is at the same level. But since your wheel wells have gone higher, you can still fit bigger tires.

Keep in mind if you do go with the body kit you'll need to buy Gap Guards to place in the wheel wells. Gap Guards not only hide the gap made visible by the lift, they also protect your engine from excessive spray and weathering.
